Founded by Madhuri Prativadi, the brand reflects a seamless dialogue between global design education and Indian craftsmanship. Having studied fashion design in the United States, Madhuri brings an international perspective to the timeless traditions of Indian textiles and couture. What began as a lifelong fascination with drapes, textures, and presence has evolved into a thoughtful design philosophy creating garments that honour both the woman who wears them and the artisans who bring them to life.

At M’PRA by Madhuri Prativadi, design does not begin at the sketch. It begins at the source. In towns and bylanes where craft is not a profession, but a legacy passed from one generation to the next. The artisans we work with do not simply work with fabric—they carry years of discipline, inherited knowledge, and quiet pride in their hands. Every piece is shaped by this lineage.
